The Permit Status screen allows you to create each status that an permit can move through within the system. To access this screen, use the main menu to hover your mouse over Maintenance, then click on Permit Status.
On this screen you can add and edit the statuses that a permit can move through.
Setup is as follows:
- Enter the phrase that will be used in the Permit Status box.
- Use the Permit Status Type drop-down menu to select the system status that corresponds with the nomenclature used in there Permit Status box.
- Use the drop-down menu to select the email template that should be used for sending notification associated with the Permit Status (if applicable). Learn more about Email Templates here.
To add a new permit status click Add and complete the fields as described above.
To edit an existing permit status simply make changes to the Permit Status directly on the Permit Status screen.
Click Save in the upper right corner of the screen to commit each of these changes.
